It probably needs a little more organizing on the UI and UX. The app is not straight forward to use for a first time user. Even without a convincing feature set, it has managed to keep its users happy and snapping. Although you probably won't use it regularly, the idea of sharing secret photos and videos which last for a few seconds has takers. For serious users, Snapchat doesn't make much sense, since it has no real life value, except for a few seconds of entertainment, but it's not just a photo and video sharing app. You can send photos and videos to your contacts directly after applying some fun filters, captions and other enhancements. Snapchat also allows you to chat with your friends. The photos and videos that you share disappear within seconds after a person views it. Snapchat is very popular with teenagers and young adults.
